For many people, caring for an elderly relative at end-of-life care can be incredibly challenging. Garret Harrington at Harrington’s Pharmacy in Ballincollig was able to ensure that for one of his patients, the experience was less stressful.
We received a nomination for Garret which told us, “I have to say that all of the staff at our local pharmacy of Harringtons are unbelievably helpful at all times; kind friendly faces and always willing to help. But I have to talk about Garret who goes above and beyond.
“Garret always has time for you as a customer no matter how busy he is, he always asks the right questions and listens to your answer, and more importantly, is interested in you answer
“Garret and his team really touched our lives when our mother was very ill and dying. They were a great help to us with her medication which in turn allowed us to keep her at home until she passed away, which was so important to her and to all of the family.
“Garret and his team are such helpful people with the advice they will provide and of course their always there willing to help anyone out, and deserve so much to be recognized for the work they do for the people in their community.”
