As a participating member of Medicines for Ireland (MFI), Donagh O’Leary, Managing Director at Clonmel Healthcare along with John Donnelly had the pleasure to meet with MEP Barry Andrews in conjunction with Paul Neill, Chairperson of MFI and Eimear O’Leary, Director of Communications and Advocacy at the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA). The meeting was held at the new European Parliament office in Dublin.
Discussed at the meeting was the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive (UWWTD), the impact on the pharmaceutical sector and what we believe to be the potential negative implications the Directive will have if introduced in Ireland for the industry.
