Pharmacy Podcast Launches in Ireland

Hosted by Pharmacist and owner of Milltown Totalhealth Pharmacy Sheena Mitchell, The Irish Pharmacy Podcast launched in March of this year.

Pharmacist and owner of Milltown Totalhealth Pharmacy Sheena Mitchell.

Expert pharmacists from Totalhealth and Haven pharmacies around Ireland have featured on The Irish Pharmacy Podcast to have conversations giving clarity around key topics specialising in health, wellness, and disease management. As Ireland’s largest group of independent community pharmacies, Haven and Totalhealth Pharmacists are passionate about empowering patients with the knowledge and resources they need to support their health.

An experienced Podcaster herself, Sheena is a natural when interviewing Pharmacists from the group on their different areas of expertise. The podcast features high quality health information, brought to you in a casual, chatty manner which makes for easy listening. The aim of the podcast is to share a wealth of knowledge with all listeners. This podcast benefits patients, their families and even healthcare providers by highlighting health and wellness information in a holistic and encouraging way.

The topics covered are relevant to a wide demographic in terms of age, gender, or activity level. Post pandemic the relevance of self- care has come to the fore and patients are showing huge interest in an individually tailored approach to managing their health and wellbeing. Topics covered so far include UTI prevention and treatment, signs and symptoms of stress and how to manage it and the importance of high-quality sleep. With more episodes in the pipeline covering a wide variety of health-related topics, this is the one to watch. Available now on Spotify, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
