ABOUT DR. HAUSCHKA:
Dr. Hauschka is a pioneering natural cosmetics brand from WALA Heilmittel GmbH, which has manufactured 100% genuine and effective natural cosmetics for over 50 years. “We naturally felt like rebels when we developed these unconventional cosmetics”, commented Elisabeth Sigmund, speaking about the early days of Dr. Hauschka in 1967. For Dr. Hauschka, natural cosmetics are not a trend but a tradition that has lasted for decades. Today, the foundation exports to over 50 countries.
The raw materials for the premium products, which are certified to the international NATRUE standard, are meticulously selected. Where possible, they are grown in biodynamic quality in the company’s own medicinal herb garden or on its own Demeter farm. They are often harvested in the early hours of the morning so that they retain their full natural strengths. The raw materials that are not cultivated in-house are sourced in part from wild harvesting methods and in part from organic cultivation projects worldwide. Alternatively, they are sourced from partners who work as fairly and sustainably as Dr. Hauschka itself.
The products are free from synthetic fragrances, dyes and preservatives, silicones, PEG and mineral oils and pay heed to the natural rhythms of nature and the skin.
