Neocate LCP – Change in Case Size & new EU Regulations

Neocate LCP is an amino acid-based formula (AAF) for infants from birth with cow’s milk allergy, multiple food protein allergies, and other conditions requiring an AAF.

From end March, Neocate LCP case size will change from 4 to 6 tins per case.

In addition to this change, all Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMPs)  intended for infants are required to be updated in line with new EU Regulations (2016/127; 2016/128).  The formulation of Neocate LCP has been updated to meet the requirements of the new regulations, including adjusted levels of some micronutrients, updates to the scoop weights and the feeding guidance table on the tin labels.

Tins of the updated formulation will be identifiable by a sticker on the lid of each tin, and a slightly different visual appearance of the label, which no longer includes an image of a feeding bottle. Our Freephone number (1800 412 414) is on the sticker and is available to you or parents/guardians of children on Neocate LCP with any queries on these changes.
