The recommended dose is one Altavita D3 50,000 iu weekly for 6 to 8 weeks for your patients with vitamin D deficiency (plasma 25(OH)D < 25 nmol/l).
Consilient Health continue to supply all presentations of Altavita D3 designed for your patient’s routine. These presentations include the 1,000 iu (daily prevention), 7,000 iu (weekly prevention) and 25,000 iu (monthly prevention).
The Altavita range is reimbursed under the General Medical and Drug Community Scheme.
