Novaerus at McGreals has partnered with TradFest 2021, supplying Novaerus medical grade air dis-infection devices to provide a clean air solution for all indoor sessions. The Irish-made Novaerus devices use patented plasma technology that has been proven to kill 99.99% of the Ms2 Corona surrogate virus as well as all airborne viruses and bacteria including mumps, measles, and flu.

TradFest is a renowned annual music and culture festival organised by the Temple Bar Company, a not-for-profit alliance of businesses in the cultural quarter of Temple Bar. It will be the first festival in Ireland to take a proactive approach that will enhance and exceed public health guidance to facilitate a safe return for the music and entertainment industry. Next year’s Summer Sessions will include live indoor concerts in venues including St Patricks Cathedral, Dublin City Hall, Dublin Castle, and the Pepper Cannister Church, subject to public health guidelines.

Martin Harte, CEO of the Temple Bar Company said: “The decision to partner with Novaerus for all of the TradFest activities including the upcoming recordings and next year’s Summer Sessions will provide artists and attendees with the highest possible level of safety and air hygiene. All other relevant hygiene measures including mask-wearing will be implemented at the events.”

“Our priority is to deliver safe, controlled music events that adhere to or exceed public health guidelines, and Novaerus air de-contamination and clean air technology will help us to achieve that,” said Mr Harte. “These air dis-infection units are an enabler for live indoor events and our members and sponsors are very pleased and confident about the level of protection and reassurance they will provide.”

“Research has proven that airborne transmission is one of the key methods of contracting viruses including Covid-19 so going forward, we must pay much closer attention to the quality of air we are breathing,” said Deirdre Devitt, CEO of Novaerus at McGreals, which distributes the devices in Ireland.

“Novaerus is delighted to partner with Temple Bar Tradfest to demonstrate how air dis-infection can work with other safety measures to close the ‘hygiene loop’ by eliminating airborne transmission,” Ms Devitt said. “We are looking forward to playing our part in a safe, reassuring and enjoyable live event next summer.”
