Totalhealth Pharmacy group have announced that they are to be the official partners and sponsors of the Connacht Rugby Summer Camps. In total 19 camps with over 1,200 children attending will be held across Connacht over the summer months. The summer camps started the first week of July and continue to mid-August.

Totalhealth views this sponsorship as a partnership, where totalhealth and Connacht Rugby are working together to give children all over Connacht the opportunity to experience the game of rugby in a fun, safe environment while developing the basic rugby skills and making friends. Totalhealth Pharmacies look to connect with their local communities through sport, giving opportunities to children and giving back into the communities where our pharmacies are located. There is great excitement across the West this summer as over 1,200 children participate in the fantastic camps. Every child who attends will receive the brand-new Connacht Rugby top, as well as a rugby ball and one junior ticket to a selected Connacht Rugby match next season at the Sportsground.

Speaking at the launch at The Sportsground,

Ollie McGuinness, Director totalhealth Pharmacy and owner at McGuinness totalhealth Pharmacy, Roscommon said

“The totalhealth Pharmacy Group is delighted to have partnered with Connacht Rugby as the official sponsor of the Connacht Rugby Summer Camps happening in 19 locations throughout the province this summer. Like Connacht Rugby, totalhealth Pharmacy is all about supporting communities. Totalhealth Pharmacy has 32 member pharmacies in the Connacht area so the opportunity to partner with Connacht Rugby on this project was a win- win for us. We are excited and looking forward to see the partnership grow and the children having a great time at the Summer Camps.”

Joe Gorham Head of Rugby Development at Connacht Rugby said:

“We are delighted to officially launch this year’s Connacht Rugby Summer Camps in conjunction with totalhealth Pharmacy. The Summer Camps are an integral part of the Club & Community calendar here at Connacht. Through our ‘Grassroots to Green Shirts’ vision we want to get a rugby ball in the hands of every boy and girl in the province and have them experience the benefits of our great sport. We know that every child attending the Camps over the course of the summer will have a fantastic time. We are also thrilled to have totalhealth Pharmacy on board again as our official partner for a second year and we look forward to our partnership continuing to grow into the future.”
